Our Philosophy
We're here to rewrite the rules of packaged food. To prove that real food can be convenient, that healthy can taste amazing, and that trust is built through transparency, not marketing spin. We’re not just another nutrition brand - we’re the proof that doing the right thing can scale. Our approach is:
Clean ingredients: We only make products we want to eat and feed to our own kids. No ultra processed anything, from the best sources we can
Great macros: We prioritise protein and minimise carbs and sugar.
No compromise on taste: Healthy food doesn't have to taste like 'health food'.
Real food, no ultra-processed anything
We sit firmly against the trend of dressing up processed snacks as health food. Our rule is real, whole-food ingredients, minimally processed, with short labels and nothing engineered to look healthier than it is. Minimal processing matters because it keeps the nutrients and the integrity of the food intact, rather than stripping and rebuilding it into something closer to confectionery. This is a deliberate constraint, and it shapes what we will and will not put on a shelf.
Regenerative agriculture
We back regenerative farming as one of the most useful levers there is for both environmental and human health. In our view, healthier soil supports more nutrient-dense food and better carbon outcomes, which is why we source from regenerative and organic farms. This is a position we act on rather than a slogan, and we support initiatives in the space including Farmers Footprint Australia, whose work on soil health and regenerative practice we have publicly championed.
Philosophy in practice: the farms
The clearest expression of this philosophy is where the beef comes from. We source our organic beef through OBE Organic, a farmer-owned producer we regard as among the best organic beef producers in Australia, whose cattle range across a vast area of the Australian heartland. Choosing a farmer-owned, regeneratively run supplier over a cheaper wholesale option is the philosophy costing us money on purpose.
Standing with farmers
We treat farmer welfare and economics as part of our mission, not a side note. Through our Thankful For Farmers commitment we work to support the Australian farmers our supply chain depends on. The reasoning is simple: a food system that is better for health and the environment is not possible without the farmers who grow it, so supporting them is part of the same goal.
Nothing wasted
Our nose-to-tail thinking is a values position as much as a product decision. Our organ capsules use the nutrient-dense parts of the animal that modern Western diets tend to discard, which both honours the whole animal and reduces waste. We extend that thinking to food waste more broadly through our partnership with Saveful. Using more of what is already produced is, to us, part of eating responsibly.
Honest about the cost
We are upfront that doing food this way is harder and more expensive. Everything we do differently, Australian manufacturing, regenerative and organic sourcing, clean formulating, costs more and moves slower than the cheaper alternatives, and we have chosen to wear that rather than compromise our standards. Our products are not the cheapest on the shelf, because the philosophy is the reason why.
